What is Duratron® PI? (Polyimide)

Duratron® PI is a high-temperature material that exhibits higher strength and thermal stability than other comparable Polyimides. Duratron® PI has a Glass Transition Temperature near 700o F, and has very good wear resistance at higher PV levels. It also has good abrasion resistance to operate in rough environments.

Duratron® PI shapes are produced by utilizing Compression Molding or Direct Forming methods. Duratron® is also available with fillers to enhance its performance.
